Lampião and his cangaceiros sang parraxaxá during the intervals of the fights against the policy. It was their "shout of war". After the confrontations, they used to eat paçoca, macaxeira, charque, tapioca and other specialities to restitute the energies. Nowadays, we don't have cangaceiros anymore, but you can eat their food at Parraxaxá Restaurant.
Parraxaxá is an amazing restaurant because it brings the climate of the country side for the city, with a rustic decoration, welcomer place and warm attendance. Enjoy the northeastern typical food at Parraxaxá and discover the real taste of Pernambuco.
